    A five-day workshop covering integrative taxonomy and taxonomic expertise in the framework of the DNA barcoding initiative.

    There is no course fee, but no support towards travel, lodging or subsistence will be provided. Priority will be given to PhD students. 

    Update 17 Nov:EDIT (European Distributed Institute of Taxonomy) has awarded 4 grants of 250.00 EUR each to students not matriculated at a Paris university or doctoral school to defray the expenses associated with travel and accommodation. Grants are available to participants from both Europe and outside Europe. Granted participants will be selected by the organiser of the course

    The University of Adelaide will host the first-ever Southern Hemisphere barcode conference, co-organized by CBOL and co-hosted by several biodiversity institutions and initiatives in Australia.  The goals of the conference are: highlighting the great progress barcoding has made since the Mexico City Conference in November 2009; learning about barcoding activities in Australia and the region; and bringing barcoders together to exchange ideas and plan new activities.
